The Cowichan Valley Arts Café is a common type of web blog that comments on art.

Blogs have taken on 'web 2.0' social networking features. Art web blogs can develop to become a source of information about artists and arts events, a way to share artistic vision and images about community, and provide a virtual meeting ground; as in a café.

Art blog entries cover a wide range of topics, from art reviews and commentary to insider art world gossip, art news, personal essays, portfolios, poetry, interviews, artists' journals, etc. On this blog the most recent entry is at the top of the list of all posts.

Art blogs also serve as a forum to reach out to anybody interested in art whether it's painting, sculpture, print making, creative photography, video art, conceptual art or new media.

We welcome practitioners of different forms of art, collectors, connoisseurs, and critics!

Please see Terms of Use.

  1. Awesome I have been wishing for something like this for 4 years, where everyone in town leading a group, a workshop a class can post then on any given night I can check to see what is happening especially great for tourists and those thinking about living here and so I think it should be connected to the tourism Duncan and so on..

How can I spread the word..
