There are millions of online forums dedicated to social interaction and these are a few guidelines governing the use of the Cowichan Valley Arts Café. These guidelines will allow members and readers to share opinions without being offensive.
- Be polite. You’re not going to agree with every post you read. Allow others their opinion. You shouldn't be less polite on the Web than you would be in person.
- Check your facts. Posting incorrect information makes you look like an amateur and can be a libelous offense.
- Don't copy content without permission. Copyright rules apply. Always ask permission to use more than a few lines with a link. Give credit where credit is due.
- Make your entry meaningful. Make the "Title" of your post relevant to its content and make the content easy to read.
